Clair Norris sparks fears she’s QUIT EastEnders after five years as Bernie | The Sun

EASTENDERS star Clair Norris has reassured fans that she hasn't quit the soap after revealing her new role.

The Bernadette Taylor actress revealed she has been working on a project for ITVX to appear in one of its new flagship shows.


Clair, 24, told her followers she will be appearing in Tell Me Everything, one of the dramas launching streaming service ITV X.

She posted a series of pictures of her filming the new show on Instagram.

The actress wrote: "Small feature of my boat race in the new drama TELL ME EVERYTHING. Out today on ITV X."

The star stood outside her fancy trailer which revealed her character's name is Kerry.

One fan commented beneath her post: "I didn't realise you had left EastEnders, good luck on your new venture."

But Clair replied: "This was filmed last year! I'm still with my EE family."

She was also backed by her EastEnders pals, with Mel Owen actress Tamazin Outhwaite replying to the post with: "👏👏👏."

James Farrar – aka Sharon Mitchell's half-brother Zack Hudson – added: "Go on girl."

Paddy Bever, who is Max Turner on Coronation Street, wrote: "🥳🥳."

Tell Me Everything is a Skins-style drama series following the lives of a group of teens as they experiment with relationships, drink, drugs and sex.

ITV X has been brought in as a beefed-up replacement for the old ITV Hub – itself formerly known as ITV Player – and will air exclusive series that can only be watched as online streams.
