CORONATION Street's boss has teased a hard-hitting storyline lined up for the younger cast this Spring.
The teenagers on Coronation Street will be taking centre stage in a harrowing new storyline this February.
Corrie boss Iain MacLeod teased a huge storyline for the younger cast where "ripples spread out across the whole show."
He told The Sun: "Story starts with huge ramifications for younger cast Magazine cover that had all of our young cast on the front we did a few years ago.
"Two of whom sadly gone onto other things, remember thinking we’re lucky to have these talented actors.
"Since then some of gone and other new ones have come in but still got fantastic cohort of youngers."

The troubled teens and kids currently in the ITV soap include Asha and Adi Alahan, Hope and Ruby Stape, Sam Blakeman, Amy Barlow and Jacob Hay, Aaron Stanford and Summer Spellman, Max Turner and Lily Platt.
Iain hopes the new storyline will be relatable for viewers adding: "It's a huge story we can tell with them right at the heart of it, very relatable and very teenage.
"I'm hoping it’s the kind of story that shocks a bit and provokes awkward conversations in front of the TV."

He continued: "It has cross generational appeal of Corrie younger people might sit and watch it with their nana, this story I think will encourage conversations you'd never normally have in that cross generational way cos its tricky tonal territory.
"I’m pleased with it, working with charities to make sure
we get the detail right and fundamentally its just about those brilliant young actors being the superstars they are, then reaching out into the wider street through people
who are connected to them."
Some previous storylines involving the younger cast included Asha Alahan's private pictures getting leaked, Summer Spellman getting diagnosed with diabetes and Kelly Neelan's trial.
The producer recalled Seb's murder and how there were major consequences for all the residents in the street.
The tragedy caused shockwaves through Weatherfield, which is what he aims to do with the new Spring storyline also.
He said: "Seb and Nina ostensibly about an assault on a teenager that drew in Roy, Abi, a whole cross generational group of characters.
"Those are our best stories, the ones that don’t live in one demographic corner. This is exactly one of those.
"Huge stuff for those directly involved then parents, loved ones, families, extended friendship groups and ripples spread out across the whole show."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1.
