Coronation Street fans spot huge blunder as Stephen Reid fails to murder Elaine Jones | The Sun
CORONATION Street fans have all been left saying the same thing as they noticed a huge blunder during last night's episode.
ITV viewers watched on as Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) attempted to kill Elaine Jones as part of his grand master plan.
However, they were all left saying the same thing as they called out an obvious blunder.
An ambulance arrived to take Elaine to the hospital but the doctors were unable to explain exactly what had happened.
Fans know that Stephen drugged her in an attempt to bump her off but the hospital did not end up running any tests to discover this.
It left viewers questioning why the hospital had failed to discover the root cause of Elaine's ill heatlth.

One fan wrote online: "You're telling me the doctors won’t do tests and find different drugs in her."
Another echoed: "Does none of these Dr's do blood tests."
Whilst a third penned: "Why do no doctors in this hospital do blood tests. Every time I’ve been in hospital that’s the first thing that they do #Corrie."
Eventually, a doctor made a one-off reference to the tests but it did not appear to matter as they failed to show any of the excess caffeine tablets in Elaine's system.

It led one fan to say: "You mean they haven’t found all the excess caffeine in her blood #Corrie."
During the episode, after drugging her tea, Stephen left to buy a loaf. But when he returned Stephen walked back in and wasn’t shocked to see Elaine unconscious on the floor.
However instead of helping her he simply put the loaf down and walked out and went to Roy’s Rolls.
Sitting inside Stephen pretended to be busy hoping enough time would pass for Elaine to die.
Unfortunately for him, Elaine managed to come to and reach for her phone and summon Sally for help.
