SARAH Platt admitted to Adam Barlow that she had cheated on him with Damon Hay.
But tonight, the Coronation Street couple get news they've been completely unprepared for.
Sarah (Tina O'Brien) struggled to stay away from Damon Hay (Ciarán Griffiths) despite finding out he was a criminal her husband Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) agreed to represent.
But after being confronted by her own mother Gail and encouraged to speak the truth, Sarah confessed everything to Adam who was incandescent with rage.
The solicitor tried to confront Damon in the Bistro and walked out of his home with his things packed in a bag.
The pair have since tried to work on their marriage but are nowhere near where they used to be prior to the betrayal.
