Coronation Street spoilers for the week ahead
It’s always eventful on Coronation Street – there’s more bumps in their personal lives than there are on the cobbled streets.
In upcoming episodes, much of the focus is on Tracy Barlow’s (Kate Ford) quest for justice when it comes to her daughter, Amy (Elle Mulvaney).
Amy had recently opened up to her mum about her horrific rape by Aaron Sandford (James Craven), and Tracy wasn’t going to let it go – even if the cops were forced to drop the case.
But this week fans will see her best intentions go awry, meanwhile, murderous Stephen starts to feel the squeeze as financial pressures close in…
Tracy gets caught trying to expose Aaron
Tracy decides to put flyers up around Weatherfield exposing Aaron for the monster he is, but Amy is horrified people are going to find out what happened to her.
While Tracy assures her daughter the flyers won’t be traced back to them, Mary finds one of the flyers at the florist printer.

Abi puts two and two together, and it spells trouble for Amy who is devastated that people know about her ordeal.
The drama doesn’t stop there. Undeterred in her quest for justice, Tracy calls at the police station and glues herself to the counter, explaining to the desk sergeant that she’s not going anywhere until they take Amy’s rape allegation seriously.
Steve and Amy arrive at the police station to find Tracy about to give an interview to Suki, the reporter from the Gazette, but Amy begs her Mum not to go ahead. Will Tracy listen? Viewers will have to stay tuned.
Things continue to go downhill for Paul
Paul (Peter Ash) has been struggling with his health since being knocked over by Carla.
Unable to work and cash strapped, the outlook is bleak.
But Paul still refuses to accept the kindness of others – he’s horrified when Adam lets slip that Dee-Dee plans to cover all of his costs as he lives with her. Refusing to be seen as a charity case, Paul moves out and lands a new job as a kitchen porter at the Bistro.
But it doesn’t mark the end of Paul’s woes. His day takes a tragic turn when he arrives for his hospital appointment and the neurologist explains there’s a chance he’s suffering from onset motor neurone disease.
What else happens this week on Corrie?
Some karma comes for Stephen (Todd Boyce), as the killer’s plans are starting to catch up with him.
When Elaine reminds him that the solicitor needs proof of funds so they can proceed with their house purchase, his lies and money problems have him scrambling. Especially after Michael lets slip he has promised the girls a generous bonus off the back of the new deal.
How will Stephen get out of this one?
Other storylines to watch out for this week include:
- Faye asks Craig to come round to meet Miley as she is visiting later but how will Faye feel about Craig inviting Beth along too?
- Brian and Mary bury the hatchet, but when Brian receives an email from the family tree website informing him of his Italian cousin, Isabella, Mary despairs.
