WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Unforgotten season 5

Season five of Unforgotten continues to keep audiences hooked after it started a couple of weeks ago. The hit crime drama is also streaming as a boxset on ITVX, which means fans can binge the whole series in one go. The new series focuses on the murder of drug addict Precious Falade, whose body was discovered in a fireplace in Hammersmith.

Is Hayley Tammadon in Unforgotten?

There are lots of new faces in Unforgotten as the team takes on a new case with plenty of witnesses and suspects to be interviewed.

Moreover, season five saw a major addition to the cast with Sinéad Keenan joining as lead detractive Jessica ‘Jessie’ James.

Keenan replaced Nicola Walker after the actress decided to leave in season four with her character Cassie Stuart killed off in a brutal car accident.

Along with Keenan, the series has seen the inclusion of her family including her mother Kate (Kate Robbins) and her philandering husband Steve James (Andrew Lancel).

Last night’s (March 13) episode of Unforgotten introduced more characters with viewers recognising some familiar faces including legendary actress Hayley Mills and Derry Girls and Game of Thrones’ Ian McElhinney.

Yes, she takes on the role of Judy Mexbury in a couple of episodes of the new series as a social worker.

In episode three, detective Fran Lingley (Caroline Main) interviewed Judy about the murder victim.

Judy told Fran how Precious had foetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FAS), which caused learning difficulties and led her to struggle in school as well as having problems sustaining relationships.

Judy revealed Precious’ mother Ebele Falade (Martina Laird) refused to accept the diagnosis, which caused further problems between the two women.

She went on to shed light about the relationship between Ebele and Precious, describing it as “terrible” and saying mother and daughter “fought all the time”.

Part of the reason Ebele may have refused to accept the diagnosis was her own displaced guilt at drinking while pregnant with Precious.

The social worker said there was also physical altercations but Ebele was the aggressor rather than Precious.

This threw suspicion onto Ebele as the main suspect in Precious’ murder.

Actress Tammadon posted on Twitter about appearing in the ITV drama.

She shared a screen grab with her 138,000 followers and wrote: “Tonight. Unforgotten. @ITV you might see me pop up.

“Huge thanks to genius @ChrisLangWriter the brilliant @sethmason @verbalictor and of course.. my ace @hatch_talent.”
