Coronation Streets Mollie Gallagher teases new era as she debuts new hairdo

Coronation Street actress Mollie Gallagher has tease fans with a brand new look as she hints that she's entering "a new era."

The 25-year-old took to Instagram to ask her 107k followers to help her decide whether she should cut a fringe into her quirky hairstyle. She added a poll box for followers to choose what they think she should go for.

Mollie styled her bright blonde curtain bangs into a full fringe by using a clip on extension, and told fans: "Should I get a fringe or not what you thinking?"

"You know what I quite like it," she added. "New era pending."

The former Dancing on Ice star seemed disappointed to find that most of her followers voted 'No' but urged them to rethink as her hair didn't currently "look like a fringe."

"It's not really a fringe is it, I look like Hannah Montana, she laughed.

Mollie then justified purchasing the hair attachment online adding: "Yes I did go online to find this because I thought, 'Why not?'"

"In case it looks really bad, why risk it when you can get this?" she told fans. "Even if it looks a bit bad, but now I know."

"I'm getting a fringe," she decided and then styled her hair into a messy bun with the attachment in place. "I think that works."

Mollie's new hairstyle comes after she failed to make it through to the final of Dancing on ice and was booted out of the competition by the judges alongside The Wanted star Siva Kaneswaran.

Upon leaving the show, she wrote on her Instagram: "WHAT AN EXPERIENCE,"

"I have truly had the best time doing dancing on ice, I have learnt a crazy amount and I’m so grateful to have been part of the show. It’s been my life for past 5 months and I could keep on going because I’ve truly loved it.

"I couldn’t have asked for a better partner than Sylvain, the funniest, most patient, talented person. I’m going to miss our chaotic days together so much.

"Thank you soo much @dancingonice."
