Coronation Street: Daisy and Ryan have heart-to-heart in hospital

Isabella (played by Flaminia Cinque) made her Coronation Street debut last month when Brian (Peter Gunn) got in contact after doing a DNA test to learn about his heritage.

Finding out he was 8% Italian, he reached out to his relatives in Southern Europe and Isabella came to the cobbles.

However, it looks as though her presence is causing a stir with some of the residents, including Rita Tanner (Barbara Knox)

In upcoming scenes, bleary-eyed Brian arrives late for work as he confesses to a late night playing cards with his cousin.

Showing her disapproval, Rita is soon cornered by Isabella who scolds her for working at The Kabin.

Telling her she’s too old to work for Brian, Isabella reels and states to Rita that he needs someone younger in the shop.

Appalled by her outburst, Rita decides enough is enough and unexpectedly quits her job, marking the end of an era.

Although Brian’s defended his cousin’s behaviour in the past, it seems as though she’s starting to get under his skin now too.

Confiding in Mary Taylor (Patti Clare), he admits Isabella’s smoking is taking its toll on him and he’s looking forward to her return back to Italy.

Isabella has ruffled a few feathers during her time on the street including Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) who was ignored after trying to strike up a conversation.

However, it’s Mary who’s made her dislike clear as she discovered Isabella had sabotaged George Shuttleworth’s (Tony Maudsley) model ship.

Viewers believe Brain will become a victim of some sort of scam with his “cousin” with fears he’ll end up getting hurt.

Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV from 8pm.
