Corrie Abi star Sally Carman branded ‘gorgeous’ as she poses for stunning selfie

Coronation Street star Sally Carman looks worlds away from her character Abi Webster in the latest social media snap.

The 41-year-old actress logged into her Instagram page on Saturday (October 1) to share a glam selfie with her fans.

She posed up a storm for the camera wearing an unbuttoned white shirt.

Sally left her blonde locks down and wavy and enhanced her natural beauty with some makeup.

The award-winning soap star completed her new look with some colourful jewellery, including a necklace which read "loved".

Unsurprisingly, her snap caught the attention of her 145,000 followers, with some rushing to leave a message for the star in the comment section.

One excited fan gushed: "God was definitely showing off when he created you."

Another added: "You gorgeous woman!!!"

A third person said: "Sally, you look fab"

While a fourth social media user wrote: "Looking stunning Sally!"

Sally married Corrie co-star Joe Duttine, who plays Tim Metcalfe in the ITV soap, in an intimate ceremony in July this year.

She recently shared an unseen snap from their wedding day, leaving fans in a flutter.

Two years after getting engaged, Sally confirmed the pair had officially tied the knot with an image posted to her Instagram account.

"We did," she captioned the post which showed the newlyweds sharing a kiss, both with a glass of fizz in hand, stood under a stunning balloon arch.

After enjoying an Italian adventure for their honeymoon, Sally and Joe appeared to say 'I Do' all over again.

They appeared to don their original outfits from their first big day as they soaked up the love from their guests at their wedding party.

Sally later returned to social media to share a few more snaps from her memorable summer, including a new shot from her wedding day. "What a summer," she captioned the string of images before sharing a lengthy post.

"Special memories made all the more so with the help of some amazing people!

"I just wanted to thank a few of these beauties on here as they so deserve a shout out. So here goes… @prept_laurajane for my beautiful nails (a change from the red!) but also for being a truly beautiful soul. The genius that is @hairbyshelleyrimmer for my ever-changing locks! A true Wonder Woman who is just fabulous inside and out.

"The wondrously talented @sundaybestjazz for making our wedding party so special – my goodness, that girl can sing! Jemma at @dreambigballoons for adding real sparkle to our wedding celebrations with her amazing skills – nothing was a problem/ Also @romlilyflowers for my beautiful flowers."

She then rounded off her post: "Finally, I’d like to thank my family, esp my parents @anncarman65 and my new sis @louisemcaneny and bro Steve – we love you to bits. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for everything."
