Corrie star Andy Whyment ‘signs up’ to I’m A Celebrity All-Stars spin-off
Coronation Street star Andy Whyment is reportedly on track to participate in I’m A Celeb’s All Stars.
The actor, who first set foot on the ITV soap as Kirk Sutherland more than 22 years ago, became a hit with fans when he appeared in the I'm A Celeb jungle back in 2019.
According to claims, the Corrie legend is off to South Africa for the show’s spin-off, which is set to air next year.

A TV insider said: “Andy is hugely popular with audiences, who love his down-to-earth nature and sense of humour.
“He’s the perfect antidote to some of the divas and egos who are likely to be in the final line-up and producers are keen to strike the right balance.”
Andy spoke about the love he felt from loyal fans supporting him as he reflected on his time in the jungle back in 2019.
Speaking from the heart, he said: “It means so much to me that people are supporting me as Andy instead of just Kirk.
“I came in here with 55,000 followers, I think, on Twitter, Caitlyn Jenner has got 10million, so I can’t believe I beat her.”

Another star allegedly set to join Andy includes former co-star Helen Flanagan, who played Rosie Webster in Corrie.
Rosie appeared on I’m A Celebrity a decade ago in 2012, where rival soal star EastEnders actress Charlie Brooks was crowned Queen of the Jungle.
The mother-of-three, who is engaged to footballer Scott Sinclair, finished seventh on the show 10 years ago and was often voted by viewers to take part in Bushtucker Trials after acting squeamish.
A TV source told The Sun: “Helen is an absolute catch for ITV and they are thrilled she is finally on board.
“It has taken months of negotiations because it is a big decision to spend so long away from her young children but she has finally come around to the idea.”
Other names rumoured to be joining the upcoming spin-off include Carol Vorderman, Gillian McKeith, Georgia Toffolo and Dean Gaffney.
