Corrie's Jimmi Harkishin partying with EastEnders' Cheryl Fergison at festival
Soap worlds collided recently as Coronation Street’s Jimmi Harkishin ended up partying with EastEnders legend Cheryl Fergison at a music festival!
No, really!
Cheryl, who played Heather Trott in the BBC One soap, spent time at Lytham Festival to watch famous faces including Paul Weller, Nia Wyn and The Charlatans – and just so happened to bump into Jimmi!
Posting a picture to her Instagram alongside the Dev Alahan star, Cheryl wrote: ‘It’s only me and Jimmy Harkishin from Coronation Street here at Lytham Festival! Lovely catching up.’

Cheryl then posted a series of images from her time at the big event, which also featured a few more snaps of Jimmi absolutely worlds away from his Corrie character!
Cheryl played the role of Heather Trott in EastEnders from 2007-2012.
Best friend to Shirley Carter (Linda Henry), Heather’s life came to an end when Ben hit her over the head with a photo frame.
The actress recently admitted she would have preferred to have been paid in merchandise during her brief time on the set of Doctor Who, playing the role of Mrs Lloyd.
Asked about her time on Doctor Who by Metro.co.uk, Cheryl joked there was ‘always a connection’, as Hard Cell writer Catherine also starred in the show as companion Donna Noble.
‘I would have loved to have played an assistant,’ Cheryl admitted. ‘Wouldn’t we all?’
‘But I was absolutely, completely blessed to have been in that [episode].’
She explained that her son ‘was a complete and utter Doctor Who fanatic’ at the time, and wanted to be paid ‘not in money, but I wish I’d been paid in merchandise!’
‘He just wanted everything going, the sonic screwdrivers to Cyberman hats and Daleks and Oods and goodness knows what,’ she recalled.
‘I remember saying to producers, “Could you not just pay me in merchandise? It would be easier to cart that to my son!”‘
Last year in Coronation Street, Dev, Asha (Tanisha Gorey) and Aadi (Adam Hussain) were heavily involved in Super Soap Week.
After crashing their car, Dev chose to pull Asha out of the vehicle first, which led Aadi to thinking his dad didn’t love him as much during the aftermath.
