Creepy pervert Lloyd makes scared Amelia an offer in Emmerdale

Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) was left terrified in Thursday’s (June 29) episode of Emmerdale as she came across a man called Lloyd, who’s been following her on social media.

The teen has developed quite the following online. She’s building a platform to promote Mandy’s (Lisa Riley) salon and also earn extra money at the same time.

While it has been working, Amelia discovered the darker side to social media this week, revealing that she had been getting concerning and disturbing messages from complete strangers.

Dan (Liam Fox) and Noah (Jack Downham) argued that Amelia needed to do something to stop the comments, but she said that once they had been deleted and blocked, the problem would go away.

Except it didn’t.

While working in the salon, Amelia was paid a visit by Lloyd.

As Mandy (Lisa Riley) went off to collect her parcel from the chicken coup (don’t ask), Amelia happily welcomed Lloyd in and prepared for his beard treatment.

However, as Lloyd got comfortable, he then said that he’s Amelia’s top subscriber on her page.

He revealed his account name which horrified Amelia, as she had been under the impression that she was talking to a woman.

Lloyd’s behaviour was manipulative and disturbing. He told Amelia that he’s proud of how far she’s come in such a short space of time and believed that he could assist in growing her social media.

A terrified Amelia tried to gently ask Lloyd to leave but he wasn’t budging. She stood on the stairs with no choice but to pray that someone would soon enter and save her.

Fortunately, Mandy did, but it came after Lloyd gave Amelia a huge tip and said that was enough to earn him some personal one-on-one time.

Amelia was in tears as Lloyd scurried away. Returning home, Amelia and Mandy heard the letterbox go and to their shock, it was a letter from Lloyd.

Lloyd had branded paper which revealed where he worked. The note asked Amelia to meet up with him and that he was sorry for upsetting her.

With the penny dropping that he now knows where she lives, Amelia told Dan that the last thing she wants to do is involve the police, as Lloyd’s behaviour could seriously escalate.

The father and daughter may have no choice but to face the police soon, as Dan’s determination to protect Amelia will lead to him punching Lloyd in the face.

But will Lloyd ensure Dan faces time behind bars?
