EMMA Harding has been watching her long-lost daughter Lola Pearce from afar.
But in future EastEnders scenes, the hairdresser catches up with her and makes a shocking discovery.
The beloved character portrayed by Danielle Harold is due for an emotional exit as her health deteriorates after her brain tumour diagnosis.
Lola found out she was terminally ill and has decided to live life to the fullest despite her fears – and tie the knot with on-off partner Jay Brown.
Unbeknownst to her, her grandfather Billy Mitchell came up with a jaw-dropping idea for a wedding present and tracked down her long-lost mother Emma Harding.
But Emma (former Holby City star Patsy Kensit) thought it'd be best for her to keep her distance.

Coming up on BBC One, Lola is called into her daughter Lexi's school after reports of an unknown adult attacking a girl called Maisie.
The latter had been picking on Lexi about Lola's ailing health and Emma slyly made sure it wouldn't happen again by privately scolding her.
Lola begins to fear for her and her family's safety and grows convinced her newfound online presence could be to blame.

As viewers of the London-based drama will remember, Lola decided to document her journey with cancer through a series of blog posts.
The young mother spirals but later on, while at the salon, her world is turned upside down as she discovers Nicole's true identity.
Her gruelling health ordeal and emotions overwhelm Lola and she agrees to get checked by a doctor at home when Billy (Perry Fenwick) and Jay (Jamie Borthwick) become concerned.
Things only get more intense as an unwelcome guest turns up on their doorstep and Lola makes a shocking discovery about her past.
