EastEnders’ Denise Fox stands up to Jack as cracks in marriage continue
Eastenders’ Denise Fox on affair storyline
EastEnders couple Jack Branning (played by Scott Maslen) and Denise Fox (Denise Fox) came close to splitting up earlier this year, but could their marriage officially be over soon?
Spoilers from the BBC soap reveal Denise will be rallying around to help her sister Kim Fox (Denise Fox) only to be criticised by her husband.
The beautician becomes stressed as she tries to juggle her family commitments under the pressure of Jack.
After a run-in at the salon with Kim when Denise takes Pearl Fox (Arayah Harris-Buckle) for lunch, Denise realises that she is dealing with trauma from the crash.
Later at number 18, Denise feels guilty when Kim opens up about her struggles.
However, Kim’s partner Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) implores her to stop blaming herself for everything that has happened.
Back at home, Jack rows with Denise for being late home but she finally snaps and tells Jack she won’t apologise for not being perfect.
The couple went through a difficult patch recently and Denise almost destroyed her marriage by kissing Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara).
After explaining how sorry she was, Jack agreed to give Denise another chance and promised to be there for her after neglecting his wife for so long and allowing her to deal with all the family’s dramas.

It seems Jack will fall back into old habits though and leave Denise to take responsibility for his troubled children while lecturing her for being late home.
With his trust betrayed by Denise, Jack might overreact to her not being home when she normally is, but could his anger cause the couple to split up for good?
The family is still going through a lot, with teenager Ricky Mitchell (Frankie Day) expecting a baby with Lily Slater (Lillia Turner).
Denise’s side of the family are also struggling though, with Kim traumatised from a car accident that almost killed Howie’s son, Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega).
The usually-cheerful beautician has been dealing with panic attacks since the incident but hasn’t sought much help, so perhaps Denise will convince her sister to acknowledge what she’s going through.
EastEnders continues on Monday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
