EastEnders fans were in stitches on the latest episode of the BBC soap (May 10) after Kim Fox made a hilarious gag about the infamous Wagatha Christie trial.

Fans recently saw Kim caused a huge wreck as she was tecting while driving, and turned herself into the police to try and save her relationship with Howie.

But as she was trying to decide what to wear to her court appearance, she showed How and Denzel two jacket options, asking them if she should go for “Rebekah Vardy vibes” in a colourful jacket or be a “woman of the people” and go all black like Coleen Rooney.

Viewers found the gag hysterical, taking to social media to comment.

“Not the Wagatha Christie reference,” said one viewer, followed by three laughing emojis.

“Not Rebekah Vardy vs Coleen Rooney getting a mention,” said another, also adding laughing emojis.

A third penned: ‘omg the rooney vs vardy reference.”

Kim was consumed by anxiety as she geared up for her court appearance. Denzel tried to offer his support, but soon realized that Kim had kept her panic attacks a secret from even Howie.

Despite her nerves, Kim mustered the strength to show up for court, and was moved to see Howie and Denzel waiting for her.

Her solicitor tried to ease her worries, but the verdict from the judge left everyone stunned.

Kim was immediately banned from driving and the case was referred to the Crown Court, which could result in a prison sentence.

Linda was grappling with immense guilt as Sharon rallied to help her explain Mick's death to their confused son, Ollie. Linda finally admitted to Alfie that she had been lying to Sharon and Nish to keep them happy, in case her secret buyer fell through.

But just as Nish and Suki arrived with their associates to flaunt their latest acquisition, Linda dropped the bombshell that she was backing out of the deal.

Suki was livid, but Nish walked away calmly, stating it was just business.

Things took a turn for the worse when Linda finally confessed the truth to Sharon, leading to a massive fight between the two.

Just as the argument reached its peak, the doors to the Vic were thrown open and in walked the new co-owner – Elaine, Linda's very own mother.
