EastEnders fans heap praise on Jessie Wallace as she unveils 'stunning' new look

We’re used to seeing Jessie Wallace in leopard print and loud outfits as her EastEnders character, Kat Slater so yes, her latest Instagram post left fans feeling quite surprised!

The actress’ new image on the social media platform sees her rocking black glasses, a black top and all new black, shorter hair.

‘Rocking my new T-shirt from the coolest band and my new cut by the scissorhands magician!’, Jessie wrote alongside.

Jessie’s followers also shared their love for her new look on the post, with one writing: ‘I love your new haircut and glasses! You look great!’.

The soap star’s transformation comes a month after she confirmed her engagement to her partner, Justin Gallwey.

She was seen wearing a gold band on her ring finger while out and about in February, in snaps obtained by The Sun.

Fans were hugely excited for Jessie amid the unconfirmed reports, with her and her rumoured fiancé believed to have been friends since they were teenagers.

She then confirmed the fairytale as she gushed over her fiance in a social media post.

Taking to Instagram at the time, the star shared a grinning snap with her and Justin out for a walk in the sunshine, both wearing casual black outfits including dark sunglasses.

Jessie, a wide smile on her face, cuddles up to Justin in the photo, her hand on his chest.

She captioned it: ‘My fiancé and moi,’ along with a heart emoji.
