EastEnders Little Mo star addresses possible return
Kacey Ainsworth on whether she could return as Little Mo
EastEnders youngster Freddie Slater (played by Bobby Brazier) stormed into Walford last year after 16 years away from the square.
His arrival came with a lot of speculation that his mother, Little Mo (Kacey Ainsworth) would also be returning to the show.
The actress joined the Loose Women panel on Wednesday afternoon where she was grilled on her possible return to the show.
Coleen Nolan pressed: “We have to ask you about EastEnders because obviously you left in a taxi with your baby, your baby is now back!”
Kacey exclaimed: “My baby is back, isn’t my baby is doing well, isn’t my baby doing well! He’s settled in brilliantly, isn’t he lovely!”
Coleen continued: “Of course, everyone then goes ‘Oh is Mo coming back, is little Mo coming back?’.”
The BBC star explained: “Well I have to take you to task because you gave me a lot of heat… my phone was going ding ding!
“It is always the same thing, it’s a never say never but I literally don’t have any time at the moment but…”
Katie Piper also asked if people still recognised her as Little Mo when she was out and about, to which Kacey revealed they did.

“They sometimes do, it is a really odd one because sometimes you get people who are really young and think ‘They wouldn’t remember your character because it was years ago’.
“But it is amazing when they say ‘I watched you years ago when I was younger’, but it is really lovely and I get a mix.
“It’s lovely to have created characters that people recognise and they like and still hold them.”
EastEnders writer Chris Clenshaw recently also joined the Loose panel where he also teased Little Mo’s return.
He said: “Freddie’s in the show, so there is every chance that Little Mo could pop back to Walford.”
One of the most memorable storylines in EastEnders’ history was the domestic abuse story involving Mo and her horrible husband Trevor (Alex Ferns).
Little Mo was abused and controlled by her husband before he broke her down until she was helpless.
Then, in an episode shown on New Year’s Eve in 2001, Little Mo finally fought back, launching an attack on Trevor and repeatedly hitting him with an iron, Trevor survived but later died due to a house fire.
EastEnders airs weeknights from 7:30pm on BBC One.
