EastEnders Martin Fowler horrified for Lily as he digs into Theos past

Eastenders: Freddie confronts his former teacher

Pregnant teenage Lily Slater (played by Lilia Turner) believes Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis) is simply being a friend by buying her trainers and giving her money when she needs it.

Despite Stacey Slater’s (Lacey Turner) concerns, Lily has continued to take advantage of Theo’s offers.

In upcoming EastEnders episodes, Maritn Fowler (James Bye) will start looking into Theo’s past as he also becomes suspicious – but what will he find out?

Official spoilers for the BBC soap reveal Theo will make another appearance as Stacey and Martin worry about Lily’s family conference as the youngster informs them she isn’t feeling well.

Martin asks Sonia Jackson (Natalie Cassidy) to examine Lily and Sonia realises the expecting mother is suffering from high blood pressure.

Later, the midwife signs a dismayed Lily off school until she’s given birth.

Martin tries to reassure Lily that things will be ok, but she’s worried about missing out on schoolwork and being bored at home. Later, a nervous Lily, Ricky Mitchell (Frankie Day), and their families attend the family conference group with their social workers.

As Stacey and Martin jump in to discuss the primary care for the baby, Lily feels increasingly side-lined and irritated.

Jack Branning’s (Scott Maslen) comments don’t help the already tense situation.

Later at the café, Stacey conspires to get Theo to meet them and he offers to tutor Lily for free while she’s off school.

Stacey is thrilled, but Martin questions why Theo is willing to do this.

The concerned father digs for information on Theo through Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier).

He’s deeply concerned when Lily lets slip that Theo bought trainers for her and confronts Stacey, who tells him to back off.

Undeterred, Martin heads to Theo’s old school and finds out the real reason for him leaving.

Back at the Slater house, Stacey is hosting a tea for Theo when Martin barges in and throws some accusations around.

Stacey frets that Theo will be a no-show after Martin’s accusations, but he turns up anyway.

She tries to talk to Martin about his treatment of Theo and they come up with a set of rules, but when they return to the Slater house, neither Lily nor Theo is there, and Stacey is horrified to discover she’s been rushed to the hospital.

When they arrive, Martin grabs Theo and accuses him of hurting Lily but Theo protests his innocence.

What does Martin find out about the mysterious newcomer?

EastEnders continues on Tuesday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
