EastEnders news: Fans all say the same thing as Martin Fowler actor stars in Strictly; plus Corrie & Emmerdale spoilers | The Sun
EASTENDERS fans were all saying the same thing last night, as Walford legend James Bye donned his dancing shoes.
James, 38, has played market trader Martin Fowler in EastEnders since 2014, and last night made his first appearance on Strictly Come Dancing.
Despite seeing the Walford icon on their screens every week for eight years, fans could not recognise the soap actor.
"Wait… that's not Martin Fowler!" one fan said, in reference to the character's recasting.
While another made the same point: "Martin Fowler's grown since I watched Eastenders!"

Hollyoaks star reveals gender of her unborn baby
Jorgie Porter has revealed the gender of her and Ollie Piotrowski's baby.
"We're thrilled to reveal that we’re expecting a baby boy," Jorgie told HELLO!
"Ollie and I didn't mind either way, of course. All we wanted was a baby. He's certainly very active, and I can feel him doing somersaults and backflips.
"It's incredible to think what we've created."

Charlie Brooks opens up about EastEnders exit
Charlie Brooks has opened up about her decision to leave Walford after just 18 months back on the show.
Charlie revealed exclusively to The Sun on Sunday: “I was only ever due back to EastEnders for a year, but when [exec producer] Chris Clenshaw presented me with his idea for the story, I couldn’t say no to staying a little longer. I’ve had an amazing time, as I always do when I go back.”
Fans were shocked to hear the news, with one fan saying: "I'm absolutely gutted that Charlie Brooks is leaving EastEnders soon! It's been wonderful having Janine back on the show, and I do sincerely hope that this isn't the last we've seen of her! Wishing you all the best for the future Charlie!"

Faith Dingle's final storyline begins
Faith Dingle was revealed to have terminal cancer in a recent episode of Emmerdale, and fans are heartbroken.

Corrie’s Aadi Alahan heartbroken over Kelly’s exit
A dramatic showdown between Kelly Neelan and kidnapper Kieron on Friday night’s Corrie ultimately led to Aadi Alahan being left heartbroken.
