EastEnders Nish death ‘sealed’ as fans beg for character return after ‘mistake’

EastEnders fans are speculating that Nish Panesar could be murdered in a new 'Whodunit' storyline on the BBC soap.

The soap's last major 'Whodunit' plot came when Lucy Beale was murdered in 2014, with the culprit being revealed as her 10-year-old half brother Bobby Beale.

Now, viewers are theorizing that the recent addition to the square could become the victim of a murder, given there are many residents with a motive to kill him.

Nish made his first appearance back in September, reuniting with his family after spending 20 years in prison for the murder of a man he believed to be having an affair with his wife, Suki.

Despite only being in Walford for a matter of months, the businessman has made plenty of enemies.

Listing off the potential killers and their motives, one Reddit user theorized: "Eve: Would possibly want Nish out of the way so she and Suki could be together. Suki: Same reason as Eve. Stacey: Nish was raising their rent so perhaps Stacey wanted him gone.

"Ash/Vinny: Maybe one of these two realises how evil their dad is and decide to get rid of him. Phil: Perhaps Nish has threatened Phil's money laundering fronts and Phil wants him gone."

Another user added: "If it does happen then it’ll definitely be tied into the Eve/Suki situationship."

"I'd want it to be Ravi as the show already let him kill once tho this time it could be to protect Suki maybe? kinda redeeming himself for setting her up for Ranveer's death," commented someone else.

This theory comes off the back of Kheerat's sudden exit from the square after he confessed to the murder of Ranveer Gulati to protect Suki.

Since Kheerat was taken to prison, fans have remained insistent that the character leaving was a "mistake" and has negatively impacted storylines.

"I wish Kheerat hadn’t left. Him and Suki could have established the family as a long term fixture but I don’t see that happening now," wrote one user.

Another person added: "Kheerat and Suki were the only real interesting ones. Nish was an interesting addition but Kheerat leaving so soon after his arrival has negated his impact a bit for me."

"Kheerat’s leaving has really messed with their dynamic. It’s a shame because they were in my top three favorite families," echoed someone else.

While another stated: "Kheerat leaving was a mistake. A lot more story could have been had."
