EastEnders spoilers: Callum makes decision about Ben after rape revelations | The Sun
CALLUM Highway found out his estranged husband Ben Mitchell has actually been raped by Lewis Butler.
Despite the EastEnders troublemaker ending their marriage, the police officer is adamant on supporting him through his ordeal.
For several months, Tony Clay's character was convinced Ben (played by Max Bowden) had cheated on him with the former Prince Albert manager.
Behind closed doors, however, Ben told his mother Kathy Beale he had been raped as his behaviour spiralled out of control.
Kathy then told Phil Mitchell about Ben's suffering and, after a near-fatal overdose on drugs, he finally came to terms with the fact he had been the victim of a horrific crime.
Meanwhile, Callum was hoping Ben would work on himself and come back to him and he was also filled in on his rape.

Regardless, next week, Callum offers to accompany Ben to the police station.
Despite being rejected, he then shows up at the station to support Ben while he's taking a stand against Lewis Butler.
But will Ben actually go through with it?

In recent scenes of the BBC One soap, Ben was given the opportunity to make Lewis pay for his pain after his aunt Sam Mitchell and Zack Hudson set out to look for the rapist.
However, once he was confronted by the idea of getting revenge, Ben let Lewis run away, much like his father Phil who initially wanted to make him pay for his son's rape.
Kathy has been recommending that Ben turn to the police to report Lewis but he was reluctant to follow through.
