Callum Highway makes a decision about husband Ben Mitchell

Callum Highway found out his estranged husband Ben Mitchell has actually been raped by Lewis Butler.

For several months, Tony Clay‘s character was convinced Ben (played by Max Bowden) had cheated on him with the former Prince Albert manager.

Behind closed doors, however, Ben told his mother Kathy Beale he had been raped as his behaviour spiralled out of control.

Kathy then told Phil Mitchell about Ben’s suffering and, after a near-fatal overdose on drugs, he finally came to terms with the fact he had been the victim of a horrific crime.

Meanwhile, Callum was hoping Ben would work on himself and come back to him and he was also filled in on his rape.

But when the pair reconnected for a conversation in Albert Square, Ben deemed Callum deserved far better than him and put an end to their marriage.

Regardless, next week, Callum offers to accompany Ben to the police station.

Despite being rejected, he then shows up at the station to support Ben while he’s taking a stand against Lewis Butler.
