Later, in McKlunky’s, Jack runs into Lily and tells her what her life will be like as a teen mum.
When Stacey hears, she storms over to No.27 and bans the whole Branning family from having anything to do with the baby.
Devastated, Ricky Jr. calls Sam and leaves Jack gutted when he decides to move in with his mum.
Ricky Jr. is getting away with murder while living at Sam’s and Jack becomes desperate to bring him home.
Stacey and Denise join forces to get Martin to speak to Jack about coming to terms with Lily keeping the baby.
Later, Denise is offered a shoulder to cry on by flirty Ravi, but when she arrives home to tearful Amy, she feels guilty about enjoying Ravi’s attention.
Patrick is worried about the growing distance between Jack and Denise and offers some romantic advice.
Jack takes the hint and invites Denise to a day date when the kids are out.
However, on the way home, he stops at Sam’s place and finds Ricky Jr. skiving off.
Denise is enraged when Sam suggests the dress she’s returning to the market is too young for her.
Fed up with the whole situation, she and Kim decide to have a night out and their place of choice is Walford East.
Elsewhere, Lola is concerned when Lexi feigns illness to stay off school.
It transpires that Lexi wants to be with Lola 24/7 until she’s better so she decides it’s time to be honest and tell Lexi that she’s dying.
The news hits Lexi like a ton of bricks, but instead of crying, she demands to go back to school as she is furious that Lola lied to her.
After school, Lola’s mum Emma approaches Lexi in the playground and she shares some comforting words with her oblivious granddaughter.
Later, Emma heads to Fox &Hair and books an appointment for tomorrow, asking for Lola, specifically.
Lola starts back at work and welcomes new client Emma to her chair.
She doesn’t recognise her mum, and Emma doesn’t let on their true connection.
Before the appointment, Lola starts to feel unwell, and Denise steps in, explaining that she’s got some health problems.
Later, Emma gets a shock when she watches Lola’s latest vlog.
Emma returns to Fox & Hair on the pretence of needing a nail appointment and quizzes Lola.
As they discuss her vlog, Lola lets slip that a girl at school has been nasty to Lexi about the videos and upset her.
Meanwhile, Reiss tries to help Sonia with her money problems by suggesting she gets a lodger.
Sonia is eager for her evening with Reiss, and Kathy muses that he might have wanted to be her lodger.
It looks like Reiss might stand a chance when Sonia’s prospective lodgers are not quite what she was looking for – until the final candidate, Jed, gets Sonia’s seal of approval.
Zack is reminded of his financial obligations to Whitney and their baby.
Wanting to help Whitney out without her knowing, Zack asks Kat to give Whit the buggy she needs without revealing he bought it.
At Peggy’s, Zack is worried as to why Sam stayed in Walford and panics about the cause of her stress.
When he tries to probe further, Zack says too much and Sam is suspicious.
She later realises the text from the GUM clinic was about Zack and he reveals that he is HIV positive.
Later, Whitney is panicked when she experiences spotting and Kat offers to go with her to the hospital to get checked out.
Meanwhile, Sam finds Zack to talk about his diagnosis and how she can be there for him.
He admits he’s feeling deep shame and is terrified about the stigma surrounding HIV.
Sam is furious when he reveals he’s not picked up his meds and advises him to be honest with Whitney.
At the hospital, Dr Lane tells Whitney that her ultrasound has flagged up a situation with the baby.
Whitney is dazed after yesterday’s news, and while Zack hasn’t returned her calls, Kat suggests that she shouldn’t write him off yet and let's slip about the buggy.
After Kat finds Zack and tells him about her trip to the hospital with Whitney, he heads to her place straight away.
After he profusely apologises, Whitney reveals the news about the baby.
