EastEnders star Thomas Law promises big things for Peter Beale's return

Fans were quick to jump into the comments to share their joy at ‘jaw dropping’ Peter’s return, revealing how ‘happy’ they were to see him back.

During the episode, Lauren learnt that Cindy Beale was still alive, leaving her unable to trust Peter and admitting that she didn’t believe they had a future together.

Following the episode, she too took to social media to address the return, posting a series of photos on Instagram from her time on set.

In the caption, she gave a shoutout to Thomas, pointing out that he was her ‘first Peter’.

‘Thomas Law was my first Peter, I remember watching the show when I was younger and rooting for Lauren and Peter, before I even knew I would ever be her.’

In terms of what’s to come for Peter, producer Chris Clenshaw is keeping his cards close to his chest, saying only: ‘Peter will be returning later in the year.’

Thomas let slightly more slip in a recent behind the scenes video, in which he encouraged viewers to keep watching.

‘Stay tuned for what’s to come,’ he insisted, ‘because I can’t say too much about what’s coming next, but I’ve heard it’s very exciting!’
