On Saturday night’s Strictly Come Dancing, the remaining celebrities took to the ballroom floor in a bid to impress the judges. And while Fleur East scored the first 40 of the series, comedian Ellie Taylor and Johannes Radebe ended up at the bottom of the leaderboard with 31 points. However, Ellie avoided elimination as Tyler West and Molly Rainford landed in the dance-off.

After they performed again, the judging panel decided to save Molly and her dance partner Carlos Gu.

Although, body language expert Darren Stanton believes Ellie and Johannes won’t make the final.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Bingo, Darren began: “Ellie has found herself at various positions on the leaderboard throughout the series.

“She clearly loves being part of the process and works incredibly hard, however her scoring is unpredictable.

“Some weeks she’s really excelled and has blown the judges away, while others weeks she has received low marks.”

Discussing the comedian’s facial expressions, the expert continued: “Ellie’s facial expressions have been particularly fascinating for me as a communications expert.

“During every results show, Ellie has displayed facial gestures which prove she believed she was going home.

“It’s apparent Ellie takes nothing for granted and is genuinely surprised she has got this far in the competition.”

Darren added: “While I can’t imagine she will be in the final, Ellie still has a little more to give in terms of commitment and performance.”

The body language expert also shared his thoughts on Tyler and Dianne Buswell’s exit.

He believes Tyler was the right person to be eliminated on Sunday.

“Although Tyler was very committed and clearly loved the process, he was on my list of potentials to go this week, as the standard of his performances wasn’t the same as the others,” Darren shared.

“Even when a person decides to be motivated and to work incredibly hard, they still have physical limitations and I feel that Tyler reached the edge of his, although he was determined to continue in the competition.

“I definitely think it was the right time for Tyler and Dianne to exit.

“Despite being the latest contestant to leave, it was a massive achievement for Tyler and Dianne to reach this point in the competition.

“I really saw a huge amount of deep rapport between them from the outset and it was clear they shared a great friendship.

“However, I just didn’t see that deep reciprocal connection and synchronicity that I saw in the other competitors.

“I think if it wasn’t them this week, it most certainly would’ve been them next week.

“Tyler displayed gestures of sadness during the results show and was clearly emotional as he said his farewells.”

Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday at 7.15pm on BBC One.
