Emmerdale affair for Tracy as she betrays Nate after flirty interaction

Sharon hints at flirting between Emmerdale's Tracy and Caleb

It may look like things are back on track for Tracy Metcalfe (played by Amy Walsh) and Nate Robinson (Jurrell Carter) but soap writer Sharon Marshall has hinted an affair could be on the cards.

In upcoming scenes in Emmerdale, Nate’s uncle, Caleb (Will Ash) will make Tracy a proposition to go into business together.

Unsurprisingly, Tracy isn’t keen on upsetting Nate’s father Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).

However, reviewing a preview clip on This Morning with Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, Sharon hinted there could be more to come from Tracy and Caleb.

In the clip, Caleb tells Tracy: “You just don’t want to upset the apple cart do you?

“That’s a shame that. I thought you had more about you.”

Alison commented: “It’s the connection,” as Dermot added: “It’s absolutely on between those two.”

Sharon agreed: “I think that looked flirty. That looked like your classic, we hate you, we know you’re trouble look.”

Could Caleb’s business offer really be a way for him to upset the Dingles further by starting an affair with Tracy?

In upcoming scenes, Nate is frustrated when Tracy appears to be tempted to go into business as he fears it will annoy Cain.

Tracy accuses Nate of caring more for Cain’s feelings than the welfare of his family.

With the farm still struggling financially, Cain tells Moira it’s time for a tough choice; either Nate or Mack must be made redundant.

Nate’s relieved when Tracy sees how involving Caleb in her nursery would cause ructions.

But when Moira announces that he and Mack are going to be put in a competitive interview process for the one remaining job at the farm, furious Tracy immediately makes a call to Caleb to take him up on his offer and Nate no longer has a leg to stand on.

Will Caleb invest in Tracy’s business idea and if so how will Cain react?

Nate would be furious is Tracy fell into Caleb’s arms as a result of him losing his job at Butlers Farm.
