Emmerdale fears for Belle Dingle as ITV confirm killer Lachlan White twist

Emmerdale: Tom drops the L-bomb on Belle

Belle Dingle (played by Eden Taylor-Draper) starts fearing for her safety in upcoming Emmerdale scenes after learning Lachlan White (Thomas Atkinson) is being moved to another prison.

A police officer tells Belle the news and she runs to Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) to tell him about her anxieties around Lachlan’s prison transferral.

Emmerdale fans will remember the serial killer murdered four villagers during his time in the Yorkshire Dales.

He was obsessed with Belle and when his crimes were exposed he abducted her and tried to make her go on the run with him.

Belle managed to get away from his evil grasp but the terror did not end there as he tormented her from prison and sent his father to take revenge on her loved ones.

ITV soap spoilers have confirmed Belle confides in Vinny as she is worried about overwhelming her partner Tom King (James Chase).

She also books an appointment to see her therapist as news of Lachlan’s transfer sinks in.

Later on, Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) accidentally triggers Belle’s anxieties at work. It’s clear she is really struggling and Vinny finds her in a fragile state.

The following morning, Rhona Goskirk (Zoey Henry) unwittingly reveals to Tom how Belle has dealt with a lot of trauma and he’s curious to know what she is not telling him.

Before long, he demands the full truth from Rhona and Jai but is concerned he’s been unable to make contact with Belle.

When Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) learns Belle’s gone off alone, she and Tom head off in search of her.

Chas and Tom’s history is awkward as he used to stalk her, so he apologises for what happened as they look for Belle.

They soon spot Belle and fear her mental health has taken a turn for the worse.

Will Belle be able to overcome her fears or will she end up leaving the village?

Is there a chance Lachlan’s prison transfer doesn’t go to plan and he goes in search of Belle?

Hopefully, the killer is back behind bars soon and Tom can be a pillar of support for Belle at this difficult time.

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
