Emmerdale Nicky death sealed as fans twig murder plot after Caleb downfall

Emmerdale fans believe Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope) could be murdered by his own father Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) after his true identity is exposed to the village.

The newcomers were recently revealed to be father and son, while Caleb was confirmed as the son of the late Frank Tate (Norman Bowler) who has arrived to take back Home Farm from Kim Tate (Claire King).

During Monday's instalment of the ITV soap, Nicky attempted to help his father land some quick cash by breaking into Cain Dingle's (Jeff Hordley) garage and stealing his Audi.

But things didn't go to plan as the nanny was caught in his tracks by Cain, leading to a showdown between the pair which was seen by Caleb.

When Nicky grabbed a spanner, Cain punched Nicky to the floor as Caleb watched on.

Later, Caleb confronted his son about his actions and warned him to stay in his lane while he continues with his scheme to take back what he is owed.

After the episode, fans took to social media to speculate that Nicky could be responsible for exposing Caleb to the rest of the village.

"Nicky is going to blow it for Caleb, coz he’s impulsive and he can’t hold his water. #Emmerdale," penned one viewer.

A second fan added: "How hasn't anybody clocked onto Caleb and Nicky yet? They are about as discreet as Noah and his drone! #Emmerdale."

"Nicky's going to ruin this for Caleb," stated another viewer.

As fans predict Nicky could reveal all about his father, others suspect Caleb won't take kindly to this and could murder his own son in a bid to take revenge.

One user theorised: "Still think Caleb is going to kill Nicky…"

Another shared on Reddit: "What if Caleb ends up killing Nicky after all this?"

At the end of the episode, it was confirmed that Nicky is gay after he shared a kiss with Ally.

But fans were more focused on whether Caleb knows about his son's sexuality as one asked: "Does Caleb know his son is gay," as another penned: "Caleb don’t know his son is gay #Emmerdale."
