Emmerdale Iines up another dramatic week for the residents of the eponymous village and the viewers at home, with a big secret set to destroy everything.
Jai Sharma’s (Chris Bisson) world is shattered when he makes a big discovery, with subsequent scenes seeing Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) offer him some advice.
The secret in question has something to do with Rishi (Bhasker Patel), who confides in Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker), but will she be able to help him?
Elsewhere in the village, Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) confronts Dan (Liam Fox), who has confiscated her phone – but why?

Rishi stops by the GP surgery for a word with Manpreet, explaining that Jai knows the big secret. It takes Manpreet a moment to put together what exactly it is that her ex-husband is referring to, but once the penny drops she is stunned.

Amelia isn’t pleased when she finds out that dad Dan has confiscated her phone, having been notified by Noah of the vile messages she’s been receiving from online users.
Dan is adamant that he won’t return her device until she deletes her social media account, much to Amelia’s horror as she brands him a ‘bully’.
