AN ESCAPE to the Country buyer was reduced to tears and left speechless during a property hunt.

In the latest episode a couple, who spent the previous year travelling the country in a narrowboat and living abroad was looking for their ideal home in North Somerset.

When Rob and Pippa's son and three grandkids were ready to relocate from London to Portishead, they searched for a place to live that was no more than 30 minutes away.

With the assistance of Briony May Williams, they visited a number of homes and communities in the vicinity, including travelling to Ilminster to visit Briony's "mystery house," a former chapel.

The second home that Briony took the couple to was in the same village as Uphill Beach, which is located south of Weston-super-Mare.

"Let's see if I… sorry," she said fighting back the tears, If I could've designed – I can't even speak! If I could've designed a house it would be like this, it's just stunning."

The expert broke the news that the house was actually worth £446,000, which was£56,000 under their budget.
