The High Court trial gripped the general public over the summer as they waited to see who would win as intimate details of the famous pair's lives were laid bare daily.

Twilight star Michael Sheen dons a wig and a gown to bring Coleen's talented barrister David Sherbourne to life, with Simon Coury of The Professor and the Madman fame playing Rebekah's skilled legal representative Hugh Tomlinson QC.

The pictures also reveal the actors taking on the roles of Coleen and Rebekah's famous husbands who accompanied their wives to court as they faced the gruelling ordeal.

Wayne Rooney is depicted by Dion Lloyd, with Jamie Vardy's role taken on by Márton Nagyszokolyai as they embody the globally famous football stars.

The Wagatha Christie case made worldwide headlines when Coleen first accused Rebekah of selling stories to the press about her back in 2019.

Coleen had posted a series of fake stories to her private Instagram to try and get to the bottom of who was leaking information about her to the press.

She ultimately laid the blame at Rebekah's door and eventually went on to win her case after an overwhelming amount of evidence fell in her favour.

Vardy V Rooney: A Courtroom Drama plays out the drama in two parts and uses real transcripts from the court case to tell the incredible story of the High Court defamation case.
