First look at RuPaul's Drag Race winner Danny Beard's epic Hollyoaks performance

Danny Beard is set to take Hollyoaks by storm, with a jaw-dropping performance for some of the eponymous village’s finest.

The reigning champion on Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK, who made their debut in the Channel 4 soap on Monday (March 13), will feature in an extravagant performance on The Love Boat.

The scenes in question see Danny serenade some of the show’s biggest characters, with pictures confirming that Sienna Blake (Anna Passey), Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson), James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) and Romeo Nightingale (Owen Warner) are present for big moment.

The very definition of iconic, we reckon.

If that wasn’t fabulous enough, then you’ll be pleased to learn that Danny will also make a one-off appearance in Hollyoaks’ signature opening titles to mark the special episode, airing on Tuesday (March 14) on E4.

Talk about making an entrance!

‘I thought it would be a really good idea and now everyone’s on board,’ they said while filming the sequence.

‘There’s a soap award on the way for me I can feel it.’

Juliet Nightingale star Niamh Blackshaw, who appeared with Danny in the Brighton episode earlier this week, said: ‘Working with Danny Beard was absolutely incredible.

‘Doing the storyline that we are doing, we rarely get laughs, and Danny brought all of them. They were an incredible light to set just by being themselves.

‘They were not only fun but very professional too. It was an amazing opportunity and we all feel so lucky to have worked with them.’

Hollyoaks airs these scenes on Tuesday March 14 at 7pm on E4, or stream the episode right now over on All4.
