Freddie Slater reveals heartbreaking secret in EastEnders | The Sun

READY to reconnect with his roots, Freddie Slater reappeared in Albert Square last year but his past remains shrouded in mystery.

However, he gives Jean Slater an insight into his childhood by sharing a heart-breaking secret next week in EastEnders.

Bold and charming, Freddie Slater (portrayed by Bobby Brazier) rocked up Walford last year as he was searching for answers about his father.

After learning Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) wasn't his biological father, he found out the horrible truth about Graham Foster who had raped his mother Little Mo Slater.

But upon his reappearance in the Square, eighteen years after his mother decided to take him away from the fictional London borough, Freddie has mostly kept to himself and not given a clue on what his life was like while he was away.

Freddie has been wreaking some minor havoc since his arrival but his bubbly personality has made him an instant hit with many fans of the BBC One soap.

Next week, the lad reveals there's a lot more to him.

Coming up, Freddie finds himself double booked with two dates for the same evening and panics whether he can pull it off.

Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) convinces him to go for it but his other family members are far from trusting he can manage both dates.

Freddie gives it his best try later on in The Vic as Jean (Gillian Wright), her partner Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) and Stacey watch him while he attempts to navigate both dates.
