GEMMA Owen has signed a big money deal with PrettyLittleThing just weeks after leaving the villa.

The 19-year-old is following in the footsteps of Molly-Mae Hague after being offered six figures to work alongside the global online retailer.


An excited Gemma – who looks set to be the richest Islander ever – said: “This really is a dream come true for me. 

“I wore PrettyLittleThing throughout my time on the show and now being announced as one of their newest ambassadors alongside some incredible talent including Love Island alumni is really special. 

“The team has been amazing and I'm excited to get to work and start designing some collections for you all.”

CEO of the brand – Umar Kamani – who handpicked Gemma added: “Gemma is the perfect person to represent the PLT consumer; she's smart, confident, ambitious and has a much loved, relatable style.

“We're very excited to have her joining the PLT family and look forward to sharing lots of exciting content, collections, and shoots with our customers.”

Gemma will be launching her own PLT collections as well as helping the brand launch their new resale platform ‘PLT Marketplace’.

She will also be doing exclusive content across PLT’s YouTube, Instagram and Tik Tok channels.

Molly-Mae, came second with Tommy Fury when she appeared on the show in 2019, is now a multi-millionaire and the creative director of PLT.

Gemma also came in second place with Luca Bish and has been tipped to be hugely successful.

The dressage rider already owns her own swimsuit brand but with two million followers on Instagram, she looks set to be getting a lot more deals.

This weekend Gemma – who is the daughter of former footballer Michael – has been spending time at her family’s £4 million mansion with Luca.

The pair were one of the most solid couples in the villa but often spoke about how they never put a grandiose label on their relationship.

That still hasn’t happened according to Gemma, who slammed Luca for delaying making things official between them.
