Geordie Shore filming in chaos as biggest ever row breaks out among cast

Geordie Shore is said to be in chaos after “the biggest row ever” broke out between the cast, leaving tensions at boiling point.

Filming for the upcoming series has begun in Cyprus, and sources close to the show claim that the cast's long-standing friendships are now hanging in the balance.

A source revealed to The Sun: "There is basically a big divide in the cast now – they have been split in two as they have taken sides over a huge argument that broke out."

The insider added: "Production is thrilled with all the drama that has come out of filming and it's really shown them that there is still a lot of life left in this show and this cast."

The upcoming series of Geordie Shore is being dubbed the "most dramatic series yet" and is sure to leave fans on the edge of their seats.

In the latest series aired in 2022, the cast included Chloe Ferry, Nathan Henry, James Tindale, Amelia Lily and Abbie Holborn.

"The new format, which sees the cast go on holiday together rather than living in the old house they all shacked up in, has really freshened things up," added the source.

Back in February, MTV squashed claims Geordie Shore was being axed for good – insisting another season was in the works and promising fans plenty of excitement and a reunion planned for later this year.

"Geordie Shore has not been cancelled and continues to be one of MTV’s biggest shows. We can't wait for fans to see what we have in store next season," said the channel.

While some familiar faces, such as Scotty T and Marty McKenna, will not be returning, the original cast, including Charlotte Crosby – Vicky Pattison, and Gary 'Gaz' Beadle, will continue to bring the drama to viewers.

Yet fans hoping to see familiar faces Scotty T and Marty McKenna “getting mortal” one final time will be disappointed to learn the boys have been snubbed by the show that made them both household names.

"Marty wasn't asked back as he didn't behave well while filming Celebs Go Dating last year, which is made by the same production company that makes Geordie Shore," a TV insider claimed.

Daily Star has contacted MTV for comment.

An MTV spokesperson told The Mirror: "Geordie Shore has not been cancelled and continues to be one of MTV’s biggest shows. We can't wait for fans to see what we have in store next season."
