Things became frosty during the latest episode of Good Morning Britain after Susanna Reid was told she doesn't know how to read financial reports.

On Wednesday (December 7), Susanna and guest presenter Martin Lewis spoke to Bill Bullen who is the managing director of Utilita Energy.

Addressing the fact that their customers can't get through to them, broadcaster Susanna also spoke about the profit the company made, despite Bill stating that the company is at a loss.

But Bill dramatically shut Susanna down, leaving viewers at home rather annoyed with his "patronising" response.

Heading over to Twitter fans shared their thoughts on the awkward scenes.

One viewer wrote: "Wow what a car crash interview."

Another penned: "All this guy is doing is complaining about his business. Is this how are we living in 2022? Caring more about business than people? It doesn't make sense."

A third raged: "Perhaps YOU don't understand what people are facing this winter. What a disgusting tone to take on this topic."

While a fourth added: "Wow so the Utilita boss has zero f*****g sympathy for people suffering."

But despite the outrage directed at Bill, some felt Susanna could have done a better job at educating herself on the topic.
