Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway didn’t know where to look after her co-host Ben Shephard warned her to “stop talking”.

Kate and Ben were back at the helm of the ITV show on Friday (June 30).

But things took a rather cheeky turn when the hosts discussed whether or not people prefer a “dominant” man.

It comes after Love Island star Whitney said on Thursday’s episode (June 29) that she “doesn’t want an insecure man” and instead, wants someone dominant.

In the GMB studio, Ben asked viewers: “Do you agree? Do women prefer a dominant man?”

“I guess also, it’s what do we mean by dominant?” Kate quizzed, as Ben looked across the studio with a smirk on his face.

“Let us know what you think,” she added – with Ben still looking rather sheepish.

He then chimed in: “I’m not saying anything,” with cheeky a smile on his face.

“No, don’t be dominant with me,” Kate said.

“I’m the absolute opposite of all those things, you know that,” Ben added.

The camera then cut to Alex Beresford who was giggling in the corner before saying: “I just love the way Ben starts to get smaller and smaller.”

Kate quipped: “The viewers might want you to be more dominant, especially with me I suspect.”

To which Ben then quickly joked: “Stop talking!” while his co-stars were still giggling.

It comes after the show faced a spot of chaos yesterday (June 29) after Andi Peters called his co-star Ben a “NOB” live on-air.

"Can I just say first and foremost, Kate Garraway congratulations!” Andi gushed, referring to Kate bagging an MBE earlier this week.

Kate replied: “Thanks so much lovely, can’t wait to see you properly.”

After sharing the details about the show’s competition, Andi then made a savage dig at Ben.

“It’s time for me to go back to the studio,” Andi said.

“With Kate Garraway MBE, and Shephard NOB.”

Kate straight away let out a gasp and proclaimed: “You can’t do that!” while Ben chuckled at the savage swipe.

Clearing things up, Andi added: “‘That stands for: Nice, Old, Ben,” to which Kate replied: “Phew!”
