GMBs Susanna Reid left upset over Prince Harrys bust-up with Prince William

Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid was left grimacing after Prince Harry reportedly claimed his brother Prince William physically attacked him.

The Duke of Sussex has allegedly accused his brother of 'knocking him to the floor' during a physical altercation about Harry's wife Meghan Markle.

According to the Guardian, which claims it's seen a leaked copy of Harry's upcoming memoir, Spare, Harry wrote that the fight broke out after William branded Meghan "rude", "abrasive" and "difficult".

Prince Harry reportedly said the row escalated and William "grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and … knocked me to the floor."

Susanna Reid was concerned as she discussed the explosive tale with co-host Ben Shephard on Thursday's (January 5) episode of Good Morning Britain.

She began: "This argument between them… there’s obviously so much bad blood," before adding: "How can they come back together as a family after this? It's so painful."

Ben added: "It might take a long time, hopefully at some point they will, because they are still brothers who have been through what they’ve been through as children, losing their mum like they did.

"And they are uncles to each other’s children, [which is] such an important thing."

Reid referenced the coronation of King Charles and wondered if Prince Harry would be attending.

She asked: "Can he [Harry] be here for the coronation? It would be desperate if he’s not."

The Duke of Sussex's memoir is set to be publish next Tuesday (January 10) but the Guardian claimed it procured a copy despite "stringent pre-launch security".

According to the publication, Prince Harry wrote that his brother was criticising his marriage to Meghan and "parrot[ing] the press narrative" before things took a physical turn.

It comes as the duke said the "door is always open" to his family for reconciliation but "the ball is in their court".

In a trailer for the duke's upcoming interview with ITV's Tom Bradby, Prince Harry didn't rule out attending King Charles' coronation in May.

He said: "There's a lot that can happen between now and then," adding: "There is a lot to be discussed and I really hope that they are willing to sit down and talk about it."
