'Gossip Girl' Season 2 Is Officially Here! Check Out the Release Schedule So You Don't Miss a Thing

So, you’ve come back for more Gossip Girl. Sounds like you’re all in when it comes to rich teenagers being secretly harassed by their wildly inappropriate teachers—which is essentially what happens on this show. Or if that’s not your thing, at the very least you enjoy gazing up at the outfits and drama while simultaneously scrolling through TikTok on your phone.

After season 1 introduced viewers to a new gang of scandalous New Yorkers, HBO Max’s Gossip Girl revival is back for season 2 and bringing with it new characters, new relationships, and a new queen bee. But the past isn’t being totally left behind: a fan fave character from the original season is making a return. Here’s when you can catch all the new Gossip Girl episodes and what to expect.

Gossip Girl season 2 picks up right where we left off

The second season of Gossip Girl covers the second half of junior year for the Constance Billard-St. Jude’s students. (That’s right. Everything from the first season went down in just one semester!)

English teacher Kate Keller (Tavi Gevinson) is still working as Gossip Girl with the help of Julien (Jordan Alexander), who has agreed to send her tips. Julien is also set to battle it out with Monet (Savannah Lee Smith) when it comes to who runs their social group. Meanwhile, Aki (Evan Mock), Audrey (Emily Alyn Lind), and Max (Thomas Doherty) are still figuring out life as a throuple.

As for that returning star… Michelle Trachtenberg reprises her role as conniving Georgina Sparks. The trailer shows her sneaking into Kate’s apartment: “Did you know that you have four weak points of entry and a very pliable super?” she tells the startled teacher.

Here’s the Gossip Girl season 2 release schedule

The second season of Gossip Girl premiered on December 1 with two episodes dropping at once. From then on, new Gossip Girl episodes are being released weekly on Thursdays with 10 episodes total for the season. Here’s the full schedule:
