Holly Willoughby wows This Morning fans with new hair after letting son cut it

This Morning star Holly Willoughby has stunned fans by letting her eight-year-old son cut her hair.

The TV star posted a video on Instagram showing her sat in a chair with part of her hair clipped up as Chester had a go at chopping it.

"Make it nice and straight," she was heard squealing as her son started cutting her blonde locks.

"Chester decided it was time… When your 8 year old gets hold of the scissors …" she captioned the clip.

Holly, 41, showed of the results on Instagram and This Morning on Monday, telling fans: "Good morning and happy new hair!"

Viewers had mixed feelings about the TV star's bob, with many unable to get past the fact that she was brave enough to let a child style it.

"As a hairdresser this is giving me the fear," one posted on Instagram.

Another confessed that it gave them "anxiety".

"Don't believe it, no, got to be a professional hairdresser nearby," said somebody else.

"You are one brave lady Holly!!" said another fan, while one wrote simply: "What on Earth!"

"Omg Holl!!!!!" said model and TV star Abbey Clancy.

One person warned: "Those scissors are so blunt too haha. Hope it works out xx."

However, once mum-of-three Holly showed off the results of her trim, the general consensus seemed to be that Chester had actually done a brilliant job.

One person said: "Oh my goodness! Chester is doing a fantastic job!"

"Chester, did a good job of your hair!" exclaimed another in the comments section.

One posted: "Thank God you’ve got rid of that long hair. You look at your best now!"
