Hollywood superstar belts out Irish song during St Patrick's Day celebration in Windsor pub | The Sun

A HOLLYWOOD superstar stunned pub-goers as he belted out an Irish classic on a night out.

Pirates Of The Caribbean actor Orlando Bloom, 46, made an impromptu visit to a boozer in Windsor on St Patrick's Day, where a live band was in full swing.

Orlando – appearing eager to get involved – jumped on the stage adorned with Irish flags.

A video showed the actor – who comes from a musical household with partner Katy Perry, 38, – wearing a baseball cap and dark hoodie taking the microphone.

In a deep, gravelly voice he belted out Irish song She Moved Through The Fair.

He could be heard singing the lyrics: "It will not be long, love, till our wedding day."

Fans were quick to comment, with one writing: "This has made my day haha. Love that man."

A second put: "Should've asked him when his missus is releasing new music."

A third then put: "Sharing that voice publicly takes a certain amount of chutzpah … or alcohol. Bless him. He needs to stick to his day job."

His performance came hot on the heels of a photoshoot where he flashed his abs.

In an interview with Flaunt magazine to accompany the fashion shoot, the British actor — worth around £30million — offers a less-than-positive view of being a celeb.

“It’s like getting into a burning vehicle, right?” Orlando explains.

“Like, OK, just make sure you got a safety team, because you’ve got to have a fire-retardant suit on, a helmet, the gloves, you’ve got to get into the suit and everyone’s going to go, ‘Oh my god, it’s on fire, look at it’.

“Anyone who tells you different, I think, has maybe drunk the Kool-Aid, or bought the wrong ticket, because it’s a job.”

Orlando, who has starred in The Lord Of The Rings franchises, also credits Buddhism for helping him not to feel jealous of other stars in Tinseltown.
