Home & Away Emily Symon’s love life – Emmerdale fling, footballer, WHSmith link
Emily Symons became a Home and Away icon after stepping onto the popular Australian soap in 1989 as blonde bombshell Marilyn Chambers.
And it seems she has something in common with the sexy hairdresser, who has been married three times during her four stints in Summer Bay.
Emily, who also had a stint in Emmerdale, has had just as wild of a love life as her alter-ego; from dating Premier League footballers to marrying a descendant of WH Smith's creator.

Not only that, Marilyn star Emily has also previously found romance on set, and here, Daily Star takes a closer look inside her romantic history.
WH Smith family link
Home and Away star Emily has been married twice before – first to Nick Lipscombe between 1992 and 1995, and then to Lorenzo Smith between 2003 to 2005.
She was not the only famous star in her marriages however, as first husband Nick was a drummer.
Meanwhile, Lorenzo is the son of Viscount Hambleden, who is a descendent of English stationary tycoon W.H. Smith.
She and Lorenzo tied the knot at a secret ceremony in Henley-on-Thames, before embarking on a romantic honeymoon in Positano, Italy.
Speaking about their big day, Emily told The Mirror at the time: "We had a perfect wedding day surrounded by family and close friends."
However, The Liverpool Echo reported that Emily revealed in an interview that she struggled to become pregnant during their marriage, and that the resultant cycles of IVF impacted their relationship.
The couple later divorced in 2005.
Footballer fiancé
Before her marriage to Lorenzo Smith, Emily was engaged to Premier League footballer Matt Le Tissier.
The couple met in the late nineties when Emily was starring in a pantomime of Goldilocks in Southampton, with the pair going on to date in 1999.
They became engaged six months later, but their romance sadly did not last.
Both The Daily Star and Hull Live reported that the couple split in 2000, a year before they were due to be married.
Emmerdale romance
Although Emily is a familiar face on Home and Away, the star also had a rival soap role in beloved ITV programme Emmerdale.
Between 2001 to 2008, Emily played blonde bombshell Louise Appleton, who could regularly be seen pouring behinds behind the bar of The Woolpack Pub.
Her character also had a steamy romance with Matthew King – but it was not long before the romance spilled off-screen too.
Emily and Matthew King star Matt Healy began dating one another after meeting on the Emmerdale set, and were together for more than 15 months.
They even sizzled during an on-screen appearance together away from the dales, when they performed a duet on a Celebrity Special of ITV series Stars In Their Eyes.
However, they split up shortly before Emily took to the stage for Dancing On Ice, with a source telling The Mirror: "They have hardly seen each other in recent months as they have both been so busy.
"And with Emily racing between the Emmerdale set in Leeds and Dancing On Ice training down in London, it was the final straw.
"Emily is distraught by it and is struggling to hold it together.
"But she is a strong person and has been determined to battle on through her heartache and do her best in the show. She is close to tears a lot of the time, but her partner Daniel Whiston and the rest of the cast have been really supportive."
Emily also confirmed that she and Matt had split, with the star commenting to The Sunday People: "We are no longer in a relationship but remain friends."
Ex-partner
After leaving Emmerdale, Emily returned to Home And Away to reprise her role as Marilyn – and found romance at the same time.
The chemistry grew between her and Nova Entertainment Group Programming Director Paul Jackson, with the couple later embarking on a relationship in 2010.
Following an IVF journey together, Emily and Paul also welcomed their son Henry in 2015.
Paul also has three children called Tommy, Georgia and Grace from a previous relationship.
Speaking to New Idea about her son, Emily said: "I very much thought it couldn't happen and I was too old.
"I thought it would be impossible but it isn't. I'd given up, really, I thought I had tried every avenue that was available to us. My advice is to not give up if you're feeling a bit overwhelmed by the whole process."
She also added that Henry helped her to cope with the death of her mum in 2010, and credits him for helping her with her grieving process.
"Watching Henry enjoy little things like going to the supermarket in the car has made me realise that it's these things that matter. I lost my mother in 2010 and I forgot how to be a happy person," said Emily.
"Henry has bought so much joy with him and he's really taught me how to enjoy my life again."
However, one year after Henry's birth, Emily and Paul decided to part ways.
It is not known if Emily is single or in a relationship as the star tends to keep her personal life away from the public eye, but she does occasionally share sweet updates about son Henry on Instagram.
