With duties beginning at 6.30am on Monday, the main televised service at Westminster Abbey will start at 11am. A televised committal service will then be held at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.
The funeral will be screened live on both BBC One, the BBC News channel and on BBC iPlayer.
Rolling coverage starting on BBC Breakfast from 6am is expected to be anchored by Huw Edwards – and normal programming will likely resume after the 6pm news.
There will also be a nod to the Queen at 6.50pm on BBC One with a screening of Paddington 2.
ITV last night confirmed it will broadcast the entire event at Westminster Abbey next Monday.
It will be shown live on ITV’s main channel and simultaneously on all its digital channels.
In the evening, ITV will broadcast a documentary film chronicling the events of the past 10 days from the Queen’s death to the state funeral.
At 9pm there will also be a special programme about the day’s events, followed by an extended News at Ten.
Sky News will also broadcast the entire funeral live and will have rolling coverage from 6am, with hosts Kay Burley and Jayne Secker, as well as royal expert Alastair Bruce, likely to be taking part.
