Huge reality show cancelled despite celebrity line up – and fans will be horrified | The Sun

CELEBS On The Farm has been axed following plunging ratings and rising costs.

The popular show, which moved from Channel 5 to MTV in 2021, will not get a fourth series.

It was hosted by comedian Stephen Bailey and won by stars including Kerry Katona.

A source said: “Celebs On The Farm had a good run but now it’s been put out to pasture.

“Fans of the show will be gutted as Stephen and farmer Chris became really popular on the show.

“The last series didn’t bring in the viewing figures telly bosses hoped for and it’s not a cheap series to make.

Speaking about her time on the show, farming champion Kerry said: “The ram we had to work with had got the biggest balls I’ve ever seen!

“We had to clip their nails. I just love the fact that we pimped up a ram and sent him off to play.

“I was like, ‘Now you all know how I've got three men to marry me.’”

It wasn’t all fun however, with Kerry adding: “I didn't like milking the cows. I actually got a bit panicky doing that.

“I didn't enjoy that one. You don't milk it by hand, it's a big machine, so you've got like 24 cows, 12 cows lined up on each end and you've got put these machines on the teats.

“It was just really noisy, and the cows are so big. I'm thinking, ‘I'm in their world.’

“I didn't mind milking the goats. That was all right.

“But I loved working with the calves. I adored the calves; I cried my eyes out when I had to say goodbye to them.”
