Although her stint on I’m A Celeb was cut short after being booted out of the jungle second, Scarlette Douglas made a lasting impression on the nation. The 35-year-old property expert is now swapping her jungle boots for a more glamorous role over the Christmas season.

Scarlette is no stranger to hosting her own shows as she’s one of the many property experts on the Channel 4 show A Place In The Sun.

However, it looks as though fans are going to be seeing a lot more of the 35-year-old over the holidays as she shared some exciting news on her Instagram page.

This week, Scarlette told her 78,000 followers that she’ll be replacing Entertainment reporter Richard Arnold on the ITV breakfast show Good Morning Britain.

In the same announcement, she confessed that since coming out of the I’m A Celeb jungle her work has been manic.

Sharing the news, she said: “I probably shouldn’t have told you just yet in case they decide they don’t want me anymore.

“But yes, I am going to be covering for the legend that is Richard Arnold on GMB, the Entertainment section, Good Morning Britain.

“I’m actually going to be covering over the festive period. Mind Blown!”

Not only will people get to see Scarlette on Good Morning Britain, but she’ll also be getting her own segment on Lorraine straight after.

Express.co.uk contacted a representative for GMB and Lorraine for comment.

The reality star added: “I’m going to have my own radio show on Heart for Christmas Eve.

“I’m going to be on Soccer AM! Oh my goodness there is so much happening!”

Not only will the 35-year-old be dominating TV over the Christmas season, but she also admitted that next year an album could be on the cards.

Speaking to The Sun, she confessed: “As long as people would take me seriously, I’d make sure I made good music.

“I’ve come from a musical background and I’ve always sung and danced. Maybe I’ll release an EP.

“I used to write a lot of music and I don’t write as much now but I’d like to get back into the swing of it.”

Scarlette was the 10th star to be booted from the I’m A Celeb camp last month following on from Charlene White, who was the first person to be eliminated.

However, she remained in Australia to find out which of her campmates would be crowned the winner of the series.

With MP Matt Hancock coming in third place, the final decision then between Hollyoaks star Owen Warner and England Lioness Jill Scott.

After presenters Ant and Dec revealed that there were 12 million votes from the public, they then announced that Jill was the new Queen of the jungle.

Stunned at taking the crown, she commented that she wouldn’t have been able to get to where she was without all of the other stars in the line-up.

She said: “We were one big team, I don’t think there should be one winner.
“We couldn’t have got through it without all of us and I think we’ve all been winners of I’m A Celebrity.”
