CORONATION Street star Alexandra Mardell has showed off her luxurious home ahead of her upcoming stint in the Strictly Christmas special.
The actress – who played Emma Brooker in the popular ITV soap – shares her humble abode with boyfriend of five years Joe Parker.
Alex departed her role in the soap opera earlier this year after a four-year stint.
She joins an all-star line-up along with five other famlous faces to compete for the glitterball trophy during the special Christmas Day edition.
She is set to appear alongside EastEnders legend Larry Lamb, CBeebies star George Roberts, Radio DJ Rickie Haywood Williams, podcaster Rosie Ramsey and Girls Aloud icon Nicola Roberts.
Of joining the programme, the bubbly actress said: “I’ve grown up with Strictly Come Dancing, and my Mum always said she’d love to see me on the show so this really is the best Christmas present I could give her.

Alexandra will be paired with Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Kai Widdrington.
The lovebirds were pals for two years before they started dating in 2017.
In December 2019 the pair decided to take their relationship to the next level and move in together – and they've certainly created the perfect pad to create loads of fond memories in.
Alexandra took to Instagram to announce the happy news and wrote: "He said yes!!! he’s moving in wooo!
"Happy 2nd year anniversary for tomorrow @joeparker45! 22/12/17 🖤Celebrating early in York! Love you lots! Can’t wait for 2020!! @mountroyale @lisabyrnepr"
Their living room follows a simple style with a a stylish royal blue sofa, glass coffee table and pristine white walls.
The kitchen is a huge open space that features cream cupboards, shiny black work tops and white tiling.
Their huge dining room table looks out onto their modern cooking space which has all the utensils they need to cook up a storm.
The pair can sit back and relax and watch TV from their huge flat screen telly that is hung up on the wall.
Moving upstairs, Alex has her own dressing room which is filled with everything a girl needs.
The room boasts a huge walk-in wardrobe, a Hollywood-style mirror and a funky cow print carpet to give the room a bit of an oomph.
Their master bedroom features a huge double bed with a navy frame and some cosy cushions and throws.
Alexandra first shot to fame back in 2018 when she landed the role of Emma Brooker – an apprentice hairdresser at Audrey's salon.
Emma arrived on the street with a bang, when she slept with David Platt who then asked her to move in with him.
But David didn't really like Emma, he was just struggling to cope after being drugged and raped by Josh Tucker.
David and Emma's fling didn't last long and he soon dumped her to be reunited with Shona.
Emma then moved in with Maria and is now in a relationship with Chesney – which has become a bit of a love triangle with Gemma Winter.

Alex has also played Kelly Horton in one episode of the ITV drama series Vera back in 2017.
She has also starred in the short film Chocolate Pieces and is the co-artistic director of JunkBox Theatre.
