Inside Doc Martin's incredible 2 bedroom Cornwall cottage as it goes up for sale for over £1m | The Sun
IF you fancy snapping up a piece of Doc Martin history – and have a spare £1m – you're in luck.
Fern Cottage, the home and surgery of Doctor Martin Ellingham, in Port Isaac, Cornwall has hit the market for a cool £1.15m and the stunning property looks like it's definitely worth the money.
Fans of the hit drama will know its set in the fictional town of Portwenn and its real life counterpart looks like it came straight out of a TV show, too.
Known for its charming cobbled streets and beautiful fishing harbour, Port Isaac would make the perfect bolthole.
Fern Cottage is a Grade II-listed former fisherman's cottage perched above the harbour and has breath-taking views of the cove.
Inside its has two bedrooms, stone floors throughout, and exposed brickwork and beams for added character.

Last month the cast – including Martin Clunes as Doc Martin – shot the final episode of the drama, which first aired in September 2004.
The final scenes were shot in Treyarnon Bay, Cornwall and saw the hot-tempered GP called to a cliff edge to help save a woman who's fallen into the sea.
During the lunch break, Martin flew a drone and after "cut' was shouted for the final time, he gave a spontaneous and emotional speech to the cast and crew before giving many of them hugs.
The final series of Doc Martin sees the GP making efforts to overcome his phobia, and starting to question whether he made the right decision about resigning.

Holidaymaker Chris Haig witnessed the cast filming some of the last scenes in Port Isaac.
He told Express.co.uk: "I think it was quite an emotional week for many long-time cast and crew members as well as for many fans who were allowed to get so close during the filming in the heart of the village of Port Isaac."
Although Martin is sad to say goodbye to the show, he previously said it was the right time to leave.
He said: “I have loved going to Cornwall to make Doc Martin over the past 18 years.
"I have looked forward to returning to this beautiful county this year for the 10th and final series.”
He continued: "The people of Cornwall, and Port Isaac in particular, have always been so helpful to us when we are making the series.
"We have some great storylines for the new series, and for the Christmas special, which I hope Doc Martin fans will love."
