Inside Emmerdale Paddy’s home with co-star wife – cosy kitchen and garden gaffe
Emmerdale stars Dominic Brunt and Joanne Mitchell are long-term spouses.
The real-life couple portray the respective characters Paddy Kirk and Sandra Flaherty on the ITV soap.
Dominic has been a staple on the show since 2003, while Joanna played a number of characters on the soap before taking over the role of Sandra from Janet Bamford in 2016.

The pair share two sons and a cosy cottage not far from the Emmerdale set in Yorkshire.
Following a dramatic Christmas for Paddy, Daily Star takes a look inside the couple's real-life home.
Rustic beams
Paddy and Joanne live in a cosy dwelling and stayed true to its initial design, keeping classic cottage features including wooden beams on the home's ceiling.
The cottage also boasts a working fireplace, open-style kitchen and stone walls and floors – which they keep warm with a number of ornate rugs.
With low ceilings, the pair keep their home chicly furnished with a number of colourful chairs and sofas.
The home also boasts artwork on the walls and a DVD library – plus an old-school Sega Rally arcade game.
Cosy kitchen
Posting to Instagram, Joanne shared a loving snap of her and Dominic in their kitchen as they celebrated his 50th birthday during lockdown.
In a tribute to her partner, she wrote: "A big happy locked down 50th birthday to one of the best. My partner in crime in so many things, @dominicbrunt. Love you & all that."
The couple like to entertain in their home, with Joanne also previously boasting about her in-house gin collection.
She wrote in 2018: "My gin collection is coming along nicely… I need to get myself a trolley."
Garden gaffe
Joanne and Dominic share a number of dogs and also have chickens in their backyard, with Dominic previously warning an unwanted chicken visitor at the house's backdoor: "We forbid you evil chicken. Do not pass our threshold."
A previous Instagram post also detailed Dominic's tragically incomplete attempt at building his own garden shed in the couple's roomy back yard.
Stick to the day job, Paddy!
