ITV reality star was ‘supposed to be on Love Island’ with Molly-Mae

ITV’s Loaded in Paradise star Amelia Bell has claimed she was supposed to be on the same Love Island series that Hague was on.

23-year-old Molly shot to fame on series five of the hit ITV2 dating show in 2019 where she found love with beau and her now-baby daddy Tommy Fury.

But according to a fellow reality star, Amelia Bell, who was on TV screens this year as part of ITVX’s Loaded in Paradise, she was also supposed to be in the famous villa the same year.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Tera, the blonde beauty, from Manchester, said she was approached by Love Island “years ago.”

“It was the one with Molly-Mae. I got approached on Instagram, then I had a phone call but it never went anywhere,” she revealed.

Amelia explained: “Basically the guy on Instagram said don’t put any detail into your application, like you don’t need to put any effort into it. Just send a video in to say that you’ve signed up.

“So I was like “oh ok,” and I didn’t put any effort in and then never got a callback.”

She then joked: “I was like, I probably should have put some effort in!”

When asked which 2019 Islander she would have cracked on with, Amelia replied: “Who was actually on it?”

“Tommy and Cal were from Manchester but no, neither of those I don’t think.”

When asked if there’s any Love Islander she has her eye on and would crack on with, Amelia said: “I fancy Liam [Reardon]. He’s the only one that I would.”

What’s more, rumours that Liam has reunited with ex Millie Court have been circulating for a while – and Amelia has admitted she’s not too happy about it.

“I’ve heart about that [Liam and Millie apparently getting back together] and I’m very upset about it,” she joked.

Amelia then went on to claim how Liam, who appeared in Love Island in 2021, ‘rejected’ her.

“I gave him a follow on Instagram the other day,” Amelia said.

“But I didn’t get a follow back so I unfollowed him,” she quipped.

It’s safe to say Amelia’s appearance on Loaded In Paradise went down a treat with viewers at home – with the blonde bombshell having racked up over 100k Instagram followers.

But Amelia is also a proud advocate for mental health and is determined to bring awareness to the subject.

“People look at me, and my Instagram like oh my god, but I just want to raise more awareness, she told the Daily Star.

Amelia recently made an appearance on the Success School podcast, hosted by Matt Hall, discussing her mental health – which fans can find on her YouTube channel.

Loaded In Paradise, the competitive sun-soaked reality series, dropped onto ITVX at the end of 2022 and had the nation gripped.

Six pairs were tasked with racing around Greece to take control of a Gold Card loaded with €50,000, with only just one pair being allowed to use it at a time.

The pair who managed to nab the card could spend it on whatever they wanted, with the card topped up every day for their use.
