The Chase fans were in for a royal treat during the episode aired on March 31.
As the contestants lined up to compete for a cash prize, eagle-eyed viewers spotted a hilarious connection between their names and the British royal family.
Host Bradley Walsh introduced the players with names that matched some of the most famous royals, including Henry, Liz, Tudor, and Mary lined up to take on Chaser, Darragh ‘the manace’ Ennis.

Viewers were amused by the unexpected link between the contestants' names and quickly took to social media to comment.
“Royal event today,” one player noticed. A second agreed: “ #TheChase Royal connection with all there names.”
More chimed in, adding: “ #TheChase all names are kings and queens!” with a fourth penning: “A royal lineup on #TheChase.”
When Bradley failed to noticed the hilarious coincidence, one fan added: “Bradders hasnt cottoned onto #thechase contestants having a royal theme.”
Three of the players sailed through to the final chase, however contestant Tudor was unable to escape the chaser and was sent home with nothing.
The theme follows on from a recent episode where the contestants all shared names with the famous cast of hit comedy sitcom, Friends.
Bradley welcomed Courtney, Matt, Jennifer and David to the show and social media soon lit up as fans spotted the hilarious coincidence.
“Looks like we have some "friends" on #TheChase,” said one viewer.
Another viewer quipped: “The one where the contestants came as Friends #TheChase,” while a third added: “Friends actors theme tonight #thechase.”
"OMG FRIENDS CAST," added another, followed by a gif of Jennifer Aniston.
Even chaser Darragh ‘the menace’ Ennis pointed out the hilarious comparison.
“It looks like the cast of Friends are here today,” he said.
He continued to mock player Courtney’s £3k cash builder prize, saying: “maybe it would have been better if we casted Lisa instead,” referring to Friends star Lisa Kudrow.
But fans were further stunned to realize that host Bradley Walsh has never seen a single episode of the hit comedy series.
“Brad has never seen Friends!!” said one shocked fan.
“The one where Brad has never seen Friends”,” said another.
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
